OUR PROCESS
We are excited to work with you on your countertop project. Whether it’s a small bathroom vanity or a full kitchen and bathroom remodel Our goal is to make the entire experience simple for you. While we've done this many times before, we understand it may be the first time that you have worked with stone. So, we'll take the time to walk you through each step.
Step 1: Stone Choice.
The process starts with you choosing a stone, so feel free to begin by browsing the links we've provided on our "stone options" page. We can also visit one of the local vendors, or view our samples. Once you've narrowed it down to a few choices, we recommend that you view the slabs in person, since each piece of natural stone is unique.
Step 2: Pricing.
After a stone has been chosen, we can put together a bid using your drawing or by taking the measurements ourselves with an in-home estimate. We will go over all the costs in detail, including tear out (if any), edge profile, sink options, etc.
Step Three: Template.
When you are ready to go ahead, you can make an appointment for us to come out and take the final measurements and create a template on site. We'll be making a mock-up of your exact layout, so that there will be no surprises!
Step Four: Fabrication.
The template is then taken back to the shop and we begin fabrication, cutting the stone, and shaping and polishing the edges.
Step Five: Installation.
After fabrication is complete, it's ready to be installed. Installation time depends on the scale and type of project, but generally, most jobs are installed in one day. Finally, we'll go over how to care for your stone.
